Biological test (★★★☆☆)

Biological tests are used as a specific biological indicator, and usually consist of a carrier containing bacterial spores with specific resistance to sterilization conditions, placed in the most difficult location in the sterilizer. After the sterilization process, these biological indicators are removed and cultured under favorable conditions.

If the biological indicator does not grow bacteria after the culture process, this shows that the sterilization effect of the sterilizer has reached the required level and can effectively kill microorganisms. On the other hand, if bacteria grow, it means that there is a problem in the sterilization process and the sterilization effect of the sterilizer is unqualified.
